4.6 miles from my house is a UPS distribution facility. The lion’s share of Xmas gifts that I ordered from Amazon have been sitting there since the 19th (5 days ago.) I drove there and they won’t give it to me. The place was packed with people in the same boat as me, and the vast majority walked out empty-handed.
Yes, the weather has been snowy. I give them three days of buffer for that, max. Time to chain up people and get me my stuff.
Definitely puts a chill on future plans to rely on online purchases for holiday shopping…

I am in the same situation – UPS has had a few boxes of mine for a few days now – but here is the kicker – UPSPS *AND* FedEx have had NO PROBLEM delivering anything to me, even with all the snow.

I just told my son that Santa wasn’t able to get all of his gifts to him… that he will have to wait until later this weekend. I had to blame the snow… how sad. I guess Amazon is going to get a lot of complaints because of their horrible shipping. You think they would have a plan B to address bad weather.
