I am a Seattle native and founder of the Parnassus Group, a new media agency that helps companies engage in the social media space. Parnassus is best known for the conferences we produce for marketing professionals, notably the Blog Business Summits and the Web Community Forum conferences.

Locally, Parnassus has been involved in a number of campaigns of note — including the 2005  ”Blogging the Stratosphere” event we conceived and planned for their partner Boeing. The event received wide industry acclaim: it won a Gold SABRE award and received a nomination for the PR Week “Best Use of the Internet” award.

A pioneer in the Web space. In the 90’s I cofounded Thunder Lizard Productions, a pioneering company that as early as 1996 was hosting conferences focused on Web advertising, Web design and Web marketing. Thunder Lizard was acquired by Fawcette Technical Publications in early 2000. 

I am coauthor of the book “Publish and Prosper: Blogging for your Business” which was published by Peachpit Press in 2005.
