Okay, I admittedly am over-snarking about what looks like something possibly of value to those 20-something twitchy urban hipsters who live in secure buildings and simply MUST-SHARE-EVERYTHING they do 24/7.

Here’s the deal. Enter your flight info into the service and it will periodically update your social networks with status updates as to your location and ETA.

DigitalBuzz says it’s “pretty useful for frequent travellers or holiday makers who want/need to keep their contacts in the loop every step of the way.”

I say it’s also pretty useful to lots of people who would like to know when you are not going to be at home.

My suggestion. Stop fiddling with your iPhone and entering mundane information into Web sites and instead go talk to your spouse or significant other. Focus on your flesh and blood relationships before it’s too late…
